Our CDL program is registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Training Provider Registry (TPR) as an Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) course. What is ELDT and why is it important? The Entry-Level Driver Training mandate establishes a set of minimum standards for commercial truck driver education. Effective February 7, 2022, educators will be required to be certified through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). This uniform national benchmark ensures that all commercial drivers learn the same basic safety skills, regardless of the state their training is located.
