TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team. The Telecommunications Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems and equipment. This role requires technical experience in telecommunications infrastructure, including but not limited to, phone systems, internet networks, and data transmission equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring uninterrupted communication services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pull cable, install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including but not limited to, phone systems, routers, switches, and access points.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to telecommunications systems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services.
3. Conduct testing and diagnostic procedures to identify faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate installation projects and resolve complex technical issues.
5. Keep accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, and service requests.
6. Stay informed about advancements in telecommunications technology and industry trends to make recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
8. Provide training and technical support to end-users as needed.
