Career prospects for Medical Office Administrator are excellent!
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment of medical secretaries and administrative assistants is expected to increase through the year 2018. Job opportunities should be above average, particularly for those with formal training and certification.
One of the reasons why Medical Office Administrators have such great career opportunities is because they can work in virtually any type of medical facility - from a hospital or doctor's office, to a nursing home or walk-in clinic.
Certification also available
Graduates of the Medical Office Administration program are eligible to apply for the National Registry Healthcare Administrator Examination.
