Class Schedule
The Business Office Specialist program is 12 months in length and consists of theory and laboratory. Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Advanced Placement/Test Outs
Any active or newly enrolled student may apply for advanced placement status. Performance test outs may be arranged through the Director of Education on a request basis and must be taken prior to the beginning of the start of the class. Any student who has sat in classes is ineligible for advanced placement. For more details regarding the Advanced Placement Policy, please refer to the Course Catalog.
Program Outline
This program is designed to develop skills and general office knowledge sufficient to qualify students for a career as a receptionist, file clerk, clerk typist, office machine operator, or general office worker. Techniques are developed with emphasis placed on labor-saving equipment and familiarization with general office procedures.
