Become a Business Office Specialist and start your career in today's high-tech workplace!

Be a part of today's fast-paced, high-tech office!

Today's workplace is exciting and fascinating, with new challenges almost every day. If you want to be a part of this world, earn your diploma at Penn Commercial and become a Business Office Specialist!

As a Business Office Specialist, you'll be a key member of the administrative team that keep offices of all kinds running at peak efficiency. You'll work with other office professionals as you prepare documents, coordinate projects, communicate with colleagues, and produce the vital material that virtually all offices depend on.

Learn to use the technology you'll find on the job

Penn Commercial's Business Office Specialist program is focused around technology, because that's what today's offices are focused around! You'll learn to use the software programs employers want you to know, from spreadsheets and word processing, to desktop publishing and accounting software.

But at Penn Commercial, you'll also earn a great deal more. We'll teach the skills you need to work effectively in an office environment:
  • How to communicate effectively with co-workers as well as with senior management
  • How to work as part of a team
  • How to prioritize your work so that all deadlines are met
  • How to maintain and update filing, inventory, and database systems
  • How to interact with clients
This last point is particularly important, since customer service is a vital part of every 21st century office.

Penn Commercial - a great place to learn and grow

While you'll receive a great education at Penn Commercial, you'll also get to know a faculty that is dedicated to your success, as well as fellow students just like you.
