![]() Penn Commercial Business/Technical School: Understand the steps below. Apply online or give us a call! Each applicant must have a High School diploma or GED certificate, and must sign a release form to obtain an official transcript of his/her high school diploma or GED to verify completion. While Penn Commercial Business/Technical School will attempt to obtain this documentation on the student's behalf and for the student's record, it is the student's responsibility to ensure the receipt of their official documentation. Each applicant is then interviewed by a representative of the admissions department to determine success potential, admissions qualifications, and program readiness. Applications for admission can be obtained and completed online at www.penncommercial.edu or during your admissions appointment. Each applicant for admission will be administered an entrance performance examination prior to beginning classes. A passing score is required for acceptance into each program. Any student not meeting the testing requirements may be referred to a partnering agency for remediation with their approval. All applicants will also have an opportunity to meet with Financial Aid for assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine grant and loan eligibility and any additional funds available to assist with the cost of tuition. Please refer to the Financial Aid Section for additional information. Students entering the Medical Assistant and the Cosmetology programs must pass a complete physical examination. This exam can be performed by a physician of the student's choice and is at the student's expense. The proper documentation needs to be submitted to the admissions department prior to your start date. High school seniors who submit an application prior to graduation and who meet all other admissions requirements will be conditionally accepted pending submission of their final transcript following graduation. A non-refundable $25 application fee will be paid by each applicant. Upon acceptance, the fee will be applied toward the $100 registration fee leaving a remaining balance of $75 to be paid no later than the date of orientation.
